Preparing for your visit
Insurance and co-pay
- Pre-authorization and or physician referral is required before your appointment by some insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company in advance should you have any questions.
- Your co-pay is listed on your insurance card. This will be collected when you check in.
Medications
- It is very important that we know exactly which medications (prescriptions and over-the-counter) your child is taking. We ask that you bring all of your child's medications in their original containers with you.
Medical records
- Please have your child's referring physician provide clinical records including the last 3 visit notes, growth charts, diagnostic and laboratory test results prior to the scheduled appointment.
FAQs
-
Can my child eat before the first visit?
Yes
-
Will my child have a procedure during our first visit?
Same-day procedures are rare.
-
Will my child have any other tests at our first visit?
Your child may have lab work or radiology tests. Usually we collect a urine and stool sample prior to radiology tests (please come prepared).
