Pediatric Emergency Services Network

The Pediatric Emergency Services Network (PESN) was chosen in 2005 as a special multi-year Signature Project by The Crystal Charity Ball. This network includes all major not-for-profit hospitals in Dallas, and it is being led and coordinated by Children's Medical Center. Through this network, The Crystal Charity Ball has supported the development of a world-class pediatric emergency services network for Dallas County.

The program is designed to provide ongoing training to emergency staff and community rescue teams and enhance pediatric triage capabilities. This innovative began with the collaboration of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, UT Southwestern University Hospital (formerly St. Paul University Hospital), Parkland Health & Hospital System, Baylor University Medical Center, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and Methodist Health System set to impact hundreds of thousands of Dallas County children for years to come.

For more information or to be added to the PESN mailing list, please email pesn@childrens.com.
