Frequently Asked Questions
Who is MyChart for?
MyChart is for Children’s Health patients and their caregivers. To have a Children’s Health MyChart account you must be either a patient of Children’s Health (aged 14 or older), or the parent or legal guardian of a patient (any age).
Children in foster care and their caregivers are not eligible for MyChart accounts.
I already have a MyChart account with another provider. Do I need a Children’s Health MyChart account?
You need a separate MyChart account for each health organization you use. You can also link all your MyChart accounts in the MyChart app to see all your child’s health information in one place. Select “Link My Accounts” from the MyChart main menu to get started.
How do I find my child’s immunization records?
Once you’ve logged into MyChart, you can see your child’s immunization record by selecting Health Summary from the main menu, then selecting Immunizations.
How do I get my child’s full medical history?
You can send a Customer Service message in MyChart and ask for a copy of your child’s medical records. There is no charge for this. If you do not have a MyChart account, you may request records online or submit a request in person, by mail, or fax. A copy fee may be charged for release of paper records.
How do I message the care team?
From a patient account, select Messages from the home screen or the main menu. Then tap the button that says “Send a message.” Follow the prompts to ask a question, schedule an appointment, or request a refill.
How do I view patient education materials?
Select “Patient Education” from the MyChart main menu to see materials your care team has shared about your child’s condition, treatment and medications.
