As we continue to evaluate this evolving situation to determine when and how we can safely welcome our volunteers back on‑site, and we hope to see you all very soon. We are committed to keeping you informed regarding a return of volunteer service and important updates about the organization.
Even though we are not able to see you in‑person, please know you continue to play a critical role in this organization and our ability to care for our patients, their families and our community. You continue to amaze us with your commitment to making life better for children through virtual volunteering, advocating for children in the community and support of our organization through donations. Children's Health℠ is extremely grateful for the invaluable contributions of our volunteers, and we look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience and thank you for your support as we continue our more than 100‑year mission to make life better for children.
We have not yet set a date to welcome volunteers back
We have not yet set a date for when we will be able to welcome our volunteers back on our campuses. We will let you know when a date is set, and we want to assure you when we are able to bring our beloved volunteers back to the hospital, it will be done in a SAFE, STRATEGIC and SUSTAINABLE way.
- SAFE: Our number one priority continues to be the safety of our patients, families, team members, volunteers and all those who enter our facilities.
- STRATEGIC: We are strategizing how to care for our patients and team members as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- SUSTAINABLE: The actions taken and activities set forth must be those able to be sustained in the long‑term and with an awareness of the potential for return of infection response.
