  • We offer 1-2 unpaid summer internships per year for current genetic counseling masters degree students, to be completed between the 1st and 2nd year of study

  • The internship consists of supervised genetic counseling, constructive feedback, case preparation, and other projects as needed
  • The internship requires that an affiliation be in place between Children’s Health and the graduate
  • Below is a list of schools currently affiliated with Children’s Health. We will consider adding additional schools with genetic counseling programs on a case by case basis:
    • University of Alabama at Birmingham

    • University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston
    • Howard University
