Some physicians are employed by Children’s Health, some are employed elsewhere, and some maintain an independent medical practice. There is no fee for being listed in our directory. The physicians populating your search results are selected based on the criteria that you provide and are then listed alphabetically. If a physician is no longer on a Children’s Health medical staff or participating in a Children’s Health managed care agreement, he/she would not be eligible to be listed in our directory.

Biography

Adam Hamill, N.P., is a pediatric nurse practitioner. Hamill cares for patients through all stages of childhood. He is passionate about providing the best possible care to those he serves. Whether treating a chronic condition, diagnosing an acute illness or providing education on healthy behaviors, he makes a difference by providing compassionate care.

I particularly enjoy helping parents navigate the different phases children go through as they grow and develop.

Hamill received his BSN from the University of Texas-Pan American. He earned his family nurse practitioner degree from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi. Hamill has a long-standing career as a nurse practitioner and experience working in a pediatric intensive care unit, an urgent care setting and a pediatric clinic.

He is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse PractitionersGreater Texas Chapter.

Hamill has been a resident of Dallas for the past 11 years. “Working with children and families over the years has been a privilege and joy. I particularly enjoy helping parents navigate the different phases children go through as they grow and develop,” says Hamill. Providing compassionate care and spending a great deal of time with my patients are key to delivering the optimal care kids need.

With five children of his own, he enjoys being around kids. He finds it rewarding to help both parents and their children navigate the mental and physical needs of growing up as healthy, productive, well-rounded human beings. Hamill and his wife have been married for 23 years and have one daughter and four sons. In his free time, he enjoys visiting aquariums and spending time with his family.
