The pediatric pulmonologists on the medical staff are board-certified and hold academic appointments at UT Southwestern.
Children's Health is the first hospital in the nation to have all 163 respiratory therapists Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS) certified.
The physicians and staff manage a broad range of respiratory disorders and are qualified in bronchoscopy, home ventilator management, pulmonary function testing, and pulmonary sleep related disorders.
Program Certified with The Joint Commission
Children's Health's Asthma Management Program was awarded disease-specific certification by The Joint Commission. The Joint Commission is the nation's predominant standard-setting accrediting and certifying regulatory body in healthcare.
Children's Health is a member of the Therapeutics Development Network, which allows our program to receive funding to participate in research and give our patients access to cutting-edge studies.
