Care Team Certifications

The pediatric pulmonologists on the medical staff are board-certified and hold academic appointments at UT Southwestern.

Children's Health is the first hospital in the nation to have all 163 respiratory therapists Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS) certified.

Providing Care

The physicians and staff manage a broad range of respiratory disorders and are qualified in bronchoscopy, home ventilator management, pulmonary function testing, and pulmonary sleep related disorders.

A Joing Commission Certified Program

Children's Health is Asthma Management Program was awarded disease-specific certification by The Joint Commission. The Joint Commission is the nation's predominant standard-setting accrediting and certifying regulatory body in healthcare.

Cutting-Edge Studies

Children's Health is a member of the Therapeutics Development Network, which allows our program to receive funding to participate in research and give our patients access to cutting-edge studies.
