Pediatric Cochlear Implant
We are dedicated to transforming the lives of children with hearing loss through expert care, advanced research and a patient-centered approach.
Uses only the most minimally invasive techniques to isolate and advance the cochlear electrodes through laparoscopic techniques
Collaborates with the UTD Callier Center to measure electrode lengths and create a personalized implant for every child
Airway Management
Our high-fidelity simulation ensures families and care teams are thoroughly prepared for discharge and emergency scenarios. Our team is also pioneering safety initiatives, including a novel risk-assessment tool to mitigate the risk of accidental tracheostomy decannulation.
Offers access to immediate care to help restore and maintain proper function with pediatric airway or swallowing disorders
Uses evidence-based procedures based on the latest research and documented best practices to identify the severity of each child’s symptoms so we can determine if they need to be treated at a hospital or on an outpatient basis

Multidisciplinary Pediatric Aerodigestive Clinic (MPAC)
We are proud to be the only multidisciplinary aerodigestive program in North Texas and one of the few in the region providing coordinated care for children with breathing and swallowing challenges.
Collaborates with multiple specialists, including gastroenterologists (GI), pulmonologists and otolaryngologists (ENT), to provide the best plan forward
Provides surgical interventions such as triple endoscopy, direct laryngoscopy and bronchoscopy, flexible bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EDG)
