Children’s Health℠ pathology and laboratory services utilizes Lean principles with every test to produce the highest quality results for the best care of our patients.

With locations at both the Dallas and Plano campuses, the Children’s Health laboratories are staffed with over 200 medical technologists, administrators, administrative assistants and pathologists. In addition, both locations provide pediatric focused phlebotomy services.

Our laboratories provide specialized services in the areas of chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, virology, metabolics, genetics, anatomic pathology, electron microscopy, and transfusion medicine.

Test results

All outpatient laboratory tests ordered during an outpatient visit should be posted within 96 hours. If you do not see your most recent test results, contact your provider and ask them to release the results. Parents may access their child’s lab results by signing in or registering for an online account here.

Laboratory accreditations

The laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Transfusion Medicine is also accredited by AABB.
