Biography
Tina Brown, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant at Children’s Health℠ with a focus on caring for children, teens and young adults with asthma and chronic lung disease (CLD). “Breathing is something we often take for granted,” says Brown. “I’m passionate about pediatric pulmonology because it gives me the opportunity to help kids live full, active lives — whether they’re playing sports, marching in the band or just keeping up with their friends.”
Brown began her career in health care as a respiratory therapist, gaining seven years of hands-on experience in pulmonary care. Building on this foundation, she completed her physician assistant training at Louisiana State University. She has been a practicing physician assistant since 2012. Her care philosophy is centered on finding the most effective and practical treatment for each individual child and their family.
“I am here for you,” she says. “I like to partner with families to find what’s both beneficial and realistic for their unique circumstances.”
Outside of work, Brown enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two dogs. She also loves traveling and seeking out new experiences. A native of Louisiana, she brings Southern warmth and hospitality to her care.
“I’m passionate about pediatric pulmonology because it gives me the opportunity to help kids live full, active lives — whether they’re playing sports, marching in the band or just keeping up with their friends.”
