Biography

Chad Smith, M.D., is a Pediatrician at Children’s Health℠. His focus is developing a collaborative relationship with parents to empower them to make good decisions and to filter through the overwhelming breadth of opinions on how to approach parenting. The transitions from infant to toddler nutrition is of particular importance as a reformed picky eater himself. In addition, Dr. Smith is interested in encouraging children to remain active and embrace good nutrition while young.  

Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2006. He then completed his residency in Pediatrics at UT-Houston Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in 2009. 

Dr. Smith lives in Allen with his wife, Allison, and their three children. He enjoys family time, his children's various activities, exercise and golf.
