I know I am successful not when I make a diagnosis or treat the disease, but when the child and family think of me as a friend and not a doctor..
Dr. Divekar

“I have the privilege to help someone every day,” says Dr. Divekar. “I live by the mantra – Where there is a will, there is a way! I know I am successful not when I make a diagnosis or treat the disease, but when the child and family think of me as a friend and not a doctor; that is the reward I strive for.”

Dr. Divekar is an active researcher, working to improve interventional cardiology techniques that positively impact patient care. His research has been published in numerous journals, and he has given presentations to other pediatric cardiologists internationally. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Pediatric and Congenital Interventional Cardiovascular Society.

Dr. Divekar enjoys going on RV trips with his family, running, biking and listening to audiobooks.
