We aim to foster a sense of well-being amongst all our residents. Recognizing that each individual is different, our program provides a wide array of resources and opportunities to help each one of our residents achieve their work-life balance.
Intern Retreat:Every January, when the winter doldrums have hit, we gather all the interns for a weekend retreat. Interns are excused from all clinical duties for 2.5 days to focus of socializing, team bonding and relaxing.
Residents as Leaders: Our PL2 retreat is focused on preparing our residents for the new roles they will encounter as a senior resident. Starting with a home cooked meal by the program director, the PL2s move on to problem-solving, team building and career development in a laid-back setting.
Holiday Party: Every December, we gather all the residents to celebrate the holidays and all the hard work they have put in so far. The evening is a great reason to dress up and get into the holiday spirit.
Graduation: Our annual graduation ceremony is a time to celebrate the many accomplishments of our graduating class. All classes are invited and coverage is provided.
