Biography

Zachary Stone, M.D., is a Pediatrician at Children’s HealthSM. He is passionate about providing high-quality care paired with the  latest research in treatments and prevention. 

“I am a strong believer that the best way to treat disease is to prevent it, and that is why I love pediatrics so much. Pediatrics offers an incredible opportunity to prevent a disease before it begins by aggressive preventive health strategies,” he says. “I also believe that families should be heard and have a voice when they have concerns about  their child's health. I will always tell families ‘This is what I would do if this were my child,’ but I understand that everyone is different and everyone has different philosophies.”

Dr. Stone earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and then completed his residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. 

He earned the White Hat Award at his residency graduation. The award is decided by a  class of residents voting for the doctor  they would trust to be their own child’s pediatrician.

Outside of work, Dr. Stone and his wife stay busy keeping up with their three young children. He also enjoys reading, playing golf and watching sports.
