Biography

Katie Puckett, APRN-PNP is a nurse practitioner at Children’s Health℠. Her clinical interests include breastfeeding education and advocacy, pediatric anxiety and depression, and pediatric developmental milestones.  

“I love watching children and families grow and develop from birth to young adults and educating parents around how to best support both the mental and physical health of their children.” 

Puckett earned her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and went on to pursue her breastfeeding specialist certification. She is now an Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), further strengthening her expertise in supporting families with breastfeeding and newborn care.

“My primary background is in postpartum and newborn care. I’m very passionate about providing breastfeeding education, especially for new parents.”

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter. She also loves going on walks with her dog – and traveling and spending time with extended family.
