Biography
Chunyu Cai, M.D., Ph.D., is a pathologist at Children’s Health℠. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at UT Southwestern. Dr. Cai received his medical degree at the Beijing Medical University, and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center followed by a residency at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine.
Dr. Cai’s clinical interests include brain tumors, diagnostic neuropathology, and peripheral muscle and nerve diseases.
Dr. Cai has research interests in meningioma and peripheral muscle and nerve diseases and has published multiple articles on these topics. He was awarded the Keifer Graduate Research Award, Wesleyan University, and he is member of American Association of Neuropathologists (AANP), and a member of United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP).
