Biography

Adrienne Hunnicutt (she/her), PsyD, is a Licensed Psychologist at Children’s Health℠ and Clinical Practice Manager for the Behavioral Health Integration and Guidance (BHIG) Initiative. She provides individual and family therapy for children and teens facing a range of mental health issues and disorders, including depression, anxiety, trauma and attention difficulties. Dr. Hunnicutt offers psychological testing and creates treatment plans to help children and families develop coping skills, manage emotional and mental health challenges and work towards healthy behaviors. 

It is a privilege to be with children and their families as they share some of the toughest moments in their lives and to join the journey toward healthier thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

Dr. Hunnicutt studied clinical psychology focusing on Child Development and Family Interaction at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, CA. She completed her internship and post-doctorate fellowship at Lewisville Independent School District in Lewisville, TX.

In her free time, Dr. Hunnicutt enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in her children’s schools, building relationships in her community and eating as much TexMex as possible.
