MPAC Center

The Multidisciplinary Pediatric Aerodigestive Center (MPAC) at Children’s Health is designed exclusively for children with complex airway and swallowing disorders. These diseases quite often require care from many different specialties and subspecialties including gastroenterologists (GI), pulmonologists and otolaryngologists (ENT) . Coordinating all of these providers can be complicated, but the center serves to keep everyone on the same page and up-to-date on what is happening.

By providing one location and one appointment to see all three specialties, families can save time and ensure that a coordinated plan has been implemented. Additionally, MPAC serves as a community resource for outside gastroenterologists (GI), pulmonologists and otolaryngologists (ENT) who wish to send patients for a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan but wish to continue to provide local care for that patient.
