Neurology - Children’s Health

When a child faces a serious long-term condition like epilepsy, parents can confidently turn to the Neurosciences Center at Children’s Health℠. Here, parents find hope and expert care with the only pediatric epilepsy program in the country to be certified by The Joint Commission. U.S. News and World Report also ranks Children's Health among the nation's top pediatric programs for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Top Medical Minds

The Neurology Service is home to some of the top medical minds in pediatric neurology. Collaborative work with UT Southwestern helps bring cutting-edge research in pediatric neurology from the lab to the bedside and allows patients to transition from pediatric to adult care.

With a variety of subspecialists under one roof, neurology patients needing access to other areas of care, such as hematology, neuro-oncology and psychiatry, have it.

Outstanding Facility

The center’s newly constructed home includes an epilepsy monitoring unit, patient rooms and a large gym where play is part of rehabilitation for kids. The new center allows kids to get all the care they need in one area of the hospital.
