Maria Bano

Maria Bano, M.D., is a cardiologist and Director of the Exercise Physiology Laboratory at Children's Health℠, specializing in heart failure, heart transplant and Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD). She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.  Her clinical interests include heart function as well as mechanical circulatory support for end-stage heart failure. Her research interests include novel imaging techniques to assess right heart dysfunction and imaging techniques in transplant-related coronary artery disease.

Dr. David Sutcliffe is a pediatric cardiologist at Children’s Health℠. Dr. Sutcliffe specializes in caring for children with heart failure using advanced cardiac therapies such as ventricular assist device support and heart transplant.

W. Robert Morrow

W. Robert Morrow, M.D., serves as President, Physician Organizations and Academic Relations and Chief Clinical Officer at Children’s Health℠. Dr. Morrow is the primary interface between Children’s Health and the physicians, with a focus on physicians from UT Southwestern Medical Center, as well as Children’s Health-employed physicians and community doctors. He oversees the physician-governed Clinical Services and Networks. Dr. Morrow earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He completed his residency in pediatrics at The University of Washington and Children’s Orthopedic Hospital (now known as Seattle Children’s Hospital). Dr. Morrow completed his fellowship training in pediatric cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital.
