Laboratory Updates


The laboratory at Children’s Health℠ recently held their annual academic poster competition in conjunction with the Children’s Health Transfusion and Laboratory Medicine Conference at the DoubleTree Hotel, Market Center Boulevard in Dallas. This competition was open to all medical laboratory professionals, residents and fellows in laboratory medicine programs throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Submissions spanned a wide range of topics, including original research, case studies/series, quality initiatives and process improvement. Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners were announced on February 9, 2018 from among the seven abstracts accepted for inclusion in this year’s competition:
