Researcher Spotlight: Emma Sanchez, Clinical Research Associate
Emma Sanchez is a Clinical Research Associate and has been employed at Children’s Health℠ for 11 years. Emma offers coordinator support for the Department of Urology and under the direction of Linda Baker, M.D., has had the opportunity to work on two National Institutes of Health-funded research projects. In addition to her work at Children’s Health, she is currently pursuing a career as a nurse. Emma has been in the medical profession since high school, where she trained to become a medical transcriptionist at Baylor University Medical Center. She comes from a family of nurses and medical professionals which is what inspired her to pursue a career in the medical field from a young age. Emma says working for the department of urology at Children’s Health has brought a valuable learning experience and a new passion to her life.
