Flu season can be a complicated time of year, especially when one family member gets the flu and shares it with the rest of the family. To help your family stay healthy, the infectious disease experts at Children’s Health have listed the top six ways to avoid the flu.
Getting a flu shot is an important step toward staying healthy during flu season. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention “CDC” recommends that everyone over the age of 6 months should get a flu shot or flu mist annually.
If you live in North Texas, we encourage you to take your children to one of 16 conveniently located Children's Health Pediatric Groups for a flu shot, or contact your pediatrician to check on availability.
