Car Seat Program

Share:

Did you know that in North Texas, 76 percent of children’s car seats are installed incorrectly? Using a properly installed car seat can reduce the rate of a fatal injury by up to 71 percent in infants and 54 percent in toddlers.

One easy and essential way to learn how to properly install your car seat is to have a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician check your seat and teach you how to use it.

Children’s Health℠ has free car seat checks by appointment; the service is open to anyone and only takes about 30 minutes.

Click below to make an appointment with a Child Passenger Safety Technician at Children’s Health.

If you have car seat questions or wish to speak with a car seat technician to schedule your appointment, please leave a message on our car seat hotline at 214-456-2059. We will return your call within 2-3 business days.

Children’s Health Injury Prevention Service is here to help make life better – and safer – for children. The car seat program is part of The Children's Health Trust. Since 2002, nearly 400 passionate people have donated more than a million dollars to support critical initiatives for children. That includes teaching parents how to properly install and use car seats and safety belts.
