Children’s Health℠ depends on the invaluable contributions of volunteers. The Student Volunteer Program is open to students, 16 years of age and older, interested in donating their time serving patients and families at Children's Medical Center Dallas.
Student volunteers serve in a variety of ways including staff support and customer service. Please note that our volunteers provide services that are strictly comforting in nature and are not able to shadow nurses, doctors, clinicians, take vital signs or observe procedures.
Our volunteer program is at our Dallas campus only. We offer two Programs—School Year Session and two Summer Sessions.
Each volunteer, regardless of where they serve, are asked to comply with the following requirements:
Fueled by generosity for more than a century, Children’s Health℠ now provides world-class care to approximately 200,000 children every year. Children whose hearts need repair. Children with rare forms of cancer. Children whose bones are broken. Children who deserve care that is second-to-none.
