Books and Magazines

Share:

A good book can offer a magical escape to help a child pass long hours in a hospital bed. The Family Resource Libraries accepts donations of new children’s books and new or gently used novels for parents. New books are incorporated into the collections, while gently used books are shared with outpatient areas.

The libraries have a particular need of the following items:

  • Spanish books for all ages including board books for infants and toddlers, young adult literature, and adult leisure materials.
  • Magazines no more than 6 months old, and magazine subscriptions.
  • Gift cards from Barnes and Nobles or iTunes to help purchase needed educational resources for patients conducting school work in the hospital and provide resources for the libraries’ early literacy programs.

View the Leisure Wish List and the Spanish Leisure Wish List.

To schedule a delivery, please email libraries@childrens.com with the date and time you would like to deliver your donation along with a completed donation form and bring it with you when you deliver your donation.
