Donate Items or Group Projects

Share:

Children’s Health℠ has a number of opportunities available for community volunteers to pool their talent and energy on special projects to benefit our young patients and their families. From group projects to individual support, these projects are perfect for community and faith groups who hope to make a difference in the lives of the patients we serve. Corporate groups, please visit our site at Corporate Groups.

Due to patient confidentiality and infection control, donated items are distributed by Children's Health staff. Unfortunately, we cannot allow individuals and groups to distribute donated items to patients. For the safety of our patients, all items must be new and unused in their original packaging. Please do not gift-wrap donated items.

Distribution of Items

Due to patient confidentiality and infection control:

  • Donated items can only be distributed by Children's Health staff
  • All items must be new and unused in their original packaging
  • Please do not gift-wrap donated items.

Tips for a Successful Group Project

  • Set goals- Establish measurable metrics to track progress and encourage participation. Is this a recurring effort? If so, use prior results to set the bar higher.
  • Compete for a cause- Challenge other departments or form teams to encourage teambuilding. Make t-shirts for project day to foster team unity.
  • Initiate a match- Double a participant’s impact by offering to match employee contributions with corporate funds.
  • Offer incentives- Entice participants by offering a jeans day, PTO day or even lunch for participation.
