UT Southwestern and Children’s Health Children’s Medical Center provide you with a gateway to a wealth of biomedical and clinical research projects. As a resident, you can access these projects as part of your dedicated research electives and via American Board of Pediatrics’ approved pediatric special training pathways. Our residents can choose to develop presentations and get published in some of the nation’s top medical journals. Residents are also recognized for research via awards or grants.

The PSTP2 Program allows qualified candidates to receive training in pediatrics at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health for two years, followed by clinical and research training in a pediatric subspecialty fellowship program.
