Post-Masters Certificate Program
If you want to take your nursing proficiency to the next level and distinguish yourself as a leader in your field, the Pediatric Post-Masters Certificate Program is designed to help you master all the necessary skills.
Offered by the University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing and Children’s Medical Center, the program provides specialized training that will enhance your ability to provide superior care to pediatric patients.
You’ll earn 31 credit hours as you learn to take advanced practice leadership roles in the care of infants, children, and adolescents with acute and chronic health care needs.
Requirements for participation in the program are:
- An MSN degree from an NLN-accredited program
- A 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale for the MSN
- Registered nurse licensure in Texas
- Physical assessment content within the past three years
In addition, two years' experience in pediatric acute care nursing is recommended.
