Step 2: Program Requirements
We appreciate your interest in becoming a volunteer at Children's Medical Center. We encourage you to review the requirements.
If after reviewing the teacher volunteer information you feel you are a match for our volunteer program and would like to proceed, please register to attend one of our Information Sessions. Requirements to participate in the program are as follows:
1) Consent for a criminal background check to be completed by Children's Medical Center
2) Provide immunization history, specifically the dates for the following:
Measles, Mumps, Rubella vaccination and booster
Varicella vaccinations (2 doses) or blood test confirming immunity
Tetanus immunization (must be within the last 10 years)
Current season Influenza vaccine
Submit to TB testing upon acceptance to volunteer program
3) Purchase a volunteer uniform ranging from $25-$30
4) Adhere to the volunteer code of ethics
5) Complete all volunteer trainings (Information Session, General Orientation and role specific training)
