The Volunteer Department does not match individuals with an observation placement. It is the responsibility of the individual to arrange for an observation period with a staff member of physician. Once this has been arranged the staff member or physician must complete a Request for Observer form and submit to the Volunteer Department. When this form is received you will be contacted to complete the remaining requirements. These requirements include:
Consent for a background check (if 18 or older)
Health Information Form that includes proof of:
Influenza immunization during Flu Season (typically September- April)
The process to become an Observer takes a minimum of two weeks. Please contact the Volunteer Services Department via email or phone with any questions.
