Give Blankets

If you would like to provide a child with a personalized handmade item, we are in need of blankets.

All blankets and materials must be new. Blankets may be quilted or fleece. Softer fabrics are most used, however, any cotton based fabric is fine. The greatest need is for blankets that can be used by school age children or older such as 72'' No Sew Fleece Throw Kits bought at local fabric stores. Please store completed blankets in large plastic bags to keep them clean until delivery.

Due to patient confidentiality and infection control, donated items are distributed by Children's staff. Unfortunately, individuals and groups are not allowed to distribute donated items to patients. Due to infection control all items must be new and unused in their original packaging. Please do not gift-wrap donated items.

To Deliver Items To the Dallas Location:

By mail: Mail to Volunteer Services, 1935 Medical District Drive, Dallas, Texas 75235

By car: Deliver Blankets Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM to Volunteer Services, 1935 Medical District Drive, Dallas, Texas 75235. Pull your car into valet parking, let the valet know that you are delivering items and take the items along with a completed donation form (please include the number of hours it took for you to complete the project) to the Concierge’s Desk. The items will then be delivered to the Volunteer Office.

To Deliver Items To the Legacy Location:

By Mail: Mail to Volunteer Services, 7601 Preston Rd., Plano, TX 75024.

By Car: Deliver Busy Books Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM to Volunteer Services, 1935 Medical District Drive, Dallas, Texas 75235. Pull your car into valet parking, let the valet know that you are delivering items and take the items along with a completed donation form (please include the number of hours it took for you to complete the project) to the Concierge’s Desk. The items will then be delivered to the Volunteer Office.
