What are Liver Cysts?
Liver cysts are rare, bubble-like defects in the liver tissue.
How do you treat liver cyst?
They are usually non-cancerous and require no treatment unless they are large; they can be associated with infection and need to be drained; they can form from bile duct malformation or malignant liver tumors and need to be surgically removed. The operation to remove a liver cyst depends on it’s cause and the location of the cyst in the liver.
