Psychiatry and Psychology: Cultural Diversity Fellowship

Children's Medical Center offers a fellowship for clinical psychology students committed to serving underserved children. The student works closely with psychologists at Children's, who are also faculty at UT Southwestern, in a program that, includes research, program development, and exposure to clinical populations. The program is individually designed to support the student's specific interests. The program offers flexibly and allows students to work up to 20 hours a week at Children's. This competitively awarded opportunity is granted to one member of the incoming first year class in the APA approved Clinical Psychology PhD Program at UT Southwestern. Applications are invited at the time interview invitations are sent to applicants, typically in the early spring preceding the academic year of entry.
