Background: Born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Lived in New Jersey while completing her education, then settled in Texas.

Education: Completed a residency in Pediatrics at Robert Wood Johnson University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

Certification: Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Experience: Medical school and residency training before joining MyChildren’s.

Patricia Petroff, M.D.

Background: born in Azakuwe, Okinowa, Japan, raised in Plano, Texas.

Education: graduated from the University of Notre  Dame where she received a B.S. in biology and received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine.  She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.
Practiced general pediatrics at Plano Children’s Medical Clinic  for 12 years where she was the medical director.

Certification: Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Deborah Mitchell, CPNP

Background: Born in Texas, and raised in Louisiana, Missouri and Minnesota.

Education: Master’s degree in Child Health from the University of Texas at Arlington. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Northeast Missouri State University.

Certification: Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Experience: Worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner for almost 15 years.
