Hematology: Clinical Trials

BESTIRON Clinical Trial

BESTIRON is a single-center, double-blinded, randomized, 12-week, superiority study that will compare the efficacy of NovaFerrum® to ferrous sulfate for the treatment of nutritional Iron Deficiency anemia in infants and young children as determined by increase in hemoglobin concentration. 

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age ≥ 9 months to < 48 months
  • Nutritional Iron Deficiency Anemia documented by hematologic indices
