Eating Disorder Services: What to Expect

When an eating disorder affects a child, it affects the whole family. At Children’s, we emphasize a family model of care. Specializing in treatment of children and adolescents, we provide care for the spectrum of eating disorders and eating-related illnesses.

It is helpful to be seen by your primary care physician prior to calling the center. During your visit with your primary care physician, an evaluation of your child’s overall physical health will be determined by obtaining lab tests and an electrocardiogram (EKG).

For more information about our program’s services, please call the Center for Pediatric Eating Disorders intake line at 214-456-8899.
