Metopic Strip: Corey

Metopic Skull Top-250Corey was sent in by his pediatrician for evaluation because of concern for a narrow and ridged forehead shape, and the diagnosis of metopic craniosynostosis was confirmed. His forehead is narrow with a prominent vertical ridge in the center, and he has a triangular head shape. He had surgery at age 3 months using a metopic strip craniectomy with postoperative helmet therapy. His photos at the completion of helmet therapy are on the right.
