  • What To Expect

    We understand that nothing matters more to you than knowing what your child faces during their diagnosis and treatment at the Center and we hope to ease those worries with knowing what to expect.

     

    In most cases, the Center will require you to meet different specialists to get the best care possible. These types of visits are combined in a single two-hour morning appointment to help cut down your time away from work and your child's time out of school or other activities.

    The kind of specialists you might meet during your child’s visit include: dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, otolaryngologists, speech pathologists, dermatologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and psychologists.

    After your child’s appointment, the team of specialist will all meet together and each one will recommend a care report to the primary physician. Because you and your family are a critical part of the decision-making process, we make sure you have a complete understanding of the team’s recommendation and your child’s options.
