Continuity Clinics

Our weekly continuity clinic is an experience designed to create a lasting connection between our residents and their patients and patients’ families. Residents serve as the primary care physicians to a panel of patients they follow throughout their residency.  They see their patients at sick visits, perform well child exams, provide anticipatory guidance, and learn to navigate the community resources that are available. Our residents all work at busy pediatric clinics (see below), but are also encouraged to recruit patients and families with whom they have connected during their rotations at the hospital or in the newborn nursery. Our goal is for families to consider our residents as their child’s primary doctor.
