I never knew being silly could be so rewarding! I have had the privilege of being a steet clown in the parade for the past five years. The children LOVE this parade and everyone really works hard to make it fun and entertaining for all ages. It really kicks off the holiday season in style!

It is by far the best day of my life! I have traveled from Seattle, WA. for the last three years to participate as a street clown. This will be my sixth year and can not wait to get into my costume, get my make-up done and hit the streets by 8:30am on parade day! The kids are fantastic and I'm still not sure who has more fun--"Smiley" the clown or the kids!

I have been an Adolphus associate for 27 years so I remember the first parade before it was televised! It is always so special to see all the volunteers who proudly wear all their parade pins to show the years they have been involved.

My Family and I have been living in the Dallas area for 3 years now and it has become a tradition for us to come and support the parade!! Also, my family from out of town looks forward to visiting this time of year for the parade. It feels so great to sit and watch it!
