  • General Surgery


    Pediatric Outpatient General Surgery at Children’s at Southlake is performed in a state-of-the-art surgical center.  Board-certified surgeons specializing in pediatric surgery treat numerous conditions: abdominal masses, GE reflux, abdominal wall hernias, undescended testes, lung abnormalities and empyema, neck masses, anorectal malformations, gall bladder problems, chest wall defects, hydroceles, and skin and soft tissue masses and abscesses.

    • Our surgical center has two operating rooms equipped with laparoscopic cameras for minimally invasive procedures for children

    Whether it’s a nasty injury or a condition your child was born with, we know how badly kids want to fit in with the others.  At Children’s, we have a  medical staff of world-renowned pediatric plastic surgeons and a staff of experienced and compassionate caregivers. Clear diagnosis, treatment plans and treatment for craniofacial anomalies, hand deformities, and acute traumatic injuries are provided. Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery at Children’s Southlake is part of the program at Children’s Dallas.

    Why Children’s

    • Hand Surgery Clinic provides diagnosis and treatment for hand injuries as well as cysts, masses, nerve conditions and congenital deformities.

    • In-house occupational therapy is provided by a registered occupational therapist and can be performed at the time of appointment.

    • The craniofacial surgery team provides diagnosis and treatment for infants and children with craniofacial deformities, craniofacial dyostosis, and cleft lip and/or palate.

    • The plastic surgery team treats infants and children with acute injuries and traumatic injuries to the lower extremities and face as well as complicated wounds, masses and congenital deformities (including feet).
