Carrollton

Igho Olobia, M.D.

Background: Born in England.
Education: Dr. Olobia completed a residency in Pediatrics at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York, N.Y. He earned his medical degree at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
Certification: Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Experience: Dr. Olobia practiced pediatrics in England and Wichita Falls, Texas, for several years. He then worked at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas before joining the physician team at MyChildren’s.

Sindhu Elizabeth Philip, D.O.

Background: Born and raised in Carrollton, Texas.
Education: Dr. Philip completed a residency in Pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso. She earned her medical degree from the University of North Texas Fort Worth (TCOM) and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Baylor University, Waco, Texas.
Certification: Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Experience: As a Carrollton native, Dr. Philip has dedicated her career to serving the families in the very same area she grew up, educating families about preventive care and providing medical services.

Jyoti Murthy, M.D.

Background: Relocated from India.
Education: Dr. Murthy completed a residency in Pediatrics in both India and at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York. She earned her medical degree from Armed Forces Medical College in India.
Certification: Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Experience: Dr. Murthy started her career as a family physician in India, and later relocated to the United States where she changed her focus to comprehensive pediatric care.

Elizabeth Thomas, D.O.

Background: Born and raised in Houston, Texas.
Education: Dr. Thomas completed a residency in Pediatrics at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and an osteopathic medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. She is currently completing a master’s degree in Public Health at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
Certification: Eligible for board-certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Experience: Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Thomas worked as a registered nurse at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston.

Daria Alexandrova, M.D.

Background: Born in Bulgaria, relocated to United States.
Education: Dr. Alexandrova completed a residency in Pediatrics at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. She earned her medical degree at Medical Academy, Higher Institute of Medicine, in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Certification: Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Experience: Dr. Alexandrova brings extensive knowledge to MyChildren’s after several years of practicing both inpatient and outpatient pediatric care.

Sonal Jain, M.D.

Background: Born in India, relocated to United States.
Education: Dr. Jain completed a residency in Pediatrics at The Texas Tech Health Science Center in Amarillo, Texas, with additional responsibilities as Chief Resident during her final year. She earned her medical degree at the University of Mumbai, India.
Certification: Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Experience: Dr. Jain practiced as a General Physician in New Delhi, India, prior to moving to the United States and joining the physician team at MyChildren’s.

Nehal Shah, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Background: Born and raised in Dallas.
Education: Dr. Shah completed a residency in Pediatrics at Austin Medical Education Programs in Austin, now known as Dell Children’s Hospital. She earned a medical degree from The Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Certification: Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Experience: Dr. Shah has provided well-child and sick patient care for a number of years with MyChildren’s.

Rekha Sivadasan, M.D.

Background: Born in New York.
Education: Dr. Sivadasan completed a residency in Pediatrics at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. In addition, she earned a master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University School of Public Health in New York and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College/Columbia University in New York.
Certification: Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Experience: Dr. Sivadasan began her career in New York, and later moved to Texas to pursue new responsibilities in general pediatrics, before joining MyChildren’s.

She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Experience: Mrs. Ward worked at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas for several years prior to joining MyChildren’s.

Background: Born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Lived in New Jersey while completing her education, then settled in Texas.
Education: Dr.Rajadhyaksha completed a residency in Pediatrics at Robert Wood Johnson University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and earned a medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

Experience: She has worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner for almost 15 years.

She earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Experience: Prior to joining My Children’s, Dr. Saifi served as an academic general pediatrician at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles where she cared for both patients in the hospital and the clinic and taught medical students and residents.
