School Nurse Outreach
The school nurses program at Children's Medical Center in partnership with the Regional 10 Education Service Center collaborates with school health providers through education and care coordination in order to facilitate optimal health for children in the learning environment.
By fostering relationships with area school nurses across more than nine counties in North Texas the school program at Children's has been able to promote optimal health for school-aged children that increases coordination of care from the hospital back into the school environment.
