Pediatric Urology: A Nurse’s Guide
Course objectives
Upon completion of the workshop, the participant will be able to:
- Differentiate between proximal, medial, and distal hypospadias
- Distinguish biofeedback implication in detrusor sphincter dyssynergia, giggle incontinence, and incontinence
- Discuss implication of dysfunctional voiding in nursing practice by examining laboratory and radiology values.
Anticipated observation of hypospadias surgery performed by Warren Snodgrass, M.D. and Nicol Bush, M.D.
Children’s Medical Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).
Contact hours will be awarded. Completion = 6.5 CNEs
