Pediatric Emergency Services Network (PESN) Quarterly Education Offering

Purpose and Content

PESN quarterly educational offerings are designed to provide ongoing training to emergency staff as well as community health care providers and rescue teams for the enhancement of pediatric triage capabilities in the Dallas County and surrounding areas. This offering will focus on enhancing the knowledge of registered nurses and APN’s regarding advocacy for and recognition of Concussion/ Mild Traumatic Brain Injury and how to incorporate use of magic as a form of therapy for people with physical, psychological, and social disabilities.
