Course Overview

A one-day review course of the prenatal diagnosis management of Congenital Heart Defects. This course features nationally-renowned guest faculty, including: Alan Nugent, M.D., Dennis Wood, RDMS, Reenu Eapen, M.D. and Pediatric Cardiology faculty from UT Southwestern.

Course Objectives

1. Discuss normal fetal echo sweeps and how to perform
2. Discuss common and complex fetal echo abnormalities
3. Discuss a differential diagnosis of the most common fetal cardiac abnormalities
4. Discuss new options for fetal cardiac interventions  

Who Should Attend

The conference is designed for pediatric cardiologists, obstetrical ultrasonographers, pediatric cardiac ultrasonographers, and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists.

Accreditation

Children’s Medical Center is accredited by the Texas Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation


Children’s Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This event is not affiliated with or endorsed by ARDMS®.

Registration Fees

The registration fee of $150 (Physicians), $125 (Non-Physicians) entitles the participants admission to the conference, all course materials, continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks and lunch.

Registration is confirmed upon receipt of registration fee.  We are unable to process any registration without payment.

Returned Check Policy

An administrative fee of $35 will be charged for all checks returned for insufficient funds.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Refunds on paid registrations will be issued only for written cancellation requests received by September 26, 2014. All refunds will be issued a $35.00 administrative fee. After September 26, 2014, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED.
