Program Content
This conference is designed to promote educational opportunities in Clinical Laboratory Medicine. For the first time, this conference will combine our transfusion medicine with our laboratory medicine conference. This four-day conference will consist of lectures and ask the experts panels with distinguished speakers from across the country. This conference is designed to provide knowledgeable, experienced faculty and clinical lab scientists, who are leaders in their field, to deliver up-to-date lectures in medical and scientific areas of their expertise. This conference will offer educational opportunities in clinical areas associated with research, development, anatomic pathology, microbiology, transfusion medicine and much more. Tours will be offered of Children’s state-of-the-art laboratory which includes recently implemented LEAN process changes.

Education Levels
Basic (B): Entry Level: no prior knowledge of subject necessary.
Intermediate (I): Refresher courses; some basic knowledge required; for experienced staff of technologist with some year of experience.
Advanced (A): Highly technical; for those with current skills/knowledge and extensive experience in a specialty area.
