16th Scott Storm Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Nursing Seminar

Purpose and Content
Scott Storm was diagnosed with leukemia at age 3 and was treated at Children’s Medical Center until he lost his battle with cancer at age 11. In memory of Scott, his family established a foundation to support the cause of nursing education in pediatric oncology. Over the past 21 years, the Scott Storm Foundation has provided financial support for nurses to attend national conferences, perform research resulting in publication, and offered ongoing support of the Scott Storm Seminar.
Who Should Attend
Any and all hematology/oncology nurses both pediatric and adult as well as critical care staff. All nurses are welcome.

Credit Designation (CNE, CRCE)
Children’s Medical Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Conflict of Interest
It is Children’s Medical Center’s policy that participants in Continuing Education Credit activities should be made aware of any affiliation or financial interest that may affect the speaker’s presentations. Each speaker has completed and signed a conflict of interest statement. The faculty members’ relationships will be disclosed in the conference materials.

$85 - Student Registration
Registration fee entitles the participant admission to the conference, parking, and access to vendors, continental breakfast, refreshment breaks and plated lunch.
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of registration fee. We are unable to process any registration without payment.
