Students at Robert S. Hyer and John S. Bradfield elementary schools will be recognized during the Celebrating Healthy Kids and Change for Children's event on April 14 at the Park Cities YMCA for raising $12,890 for the Heart Center at the Children's Medical Center in Dallas.

Plano residents Christina and Rudy Andrea have a history of giving and volunteering to causes that are dear to them. Christina has been a volunteer at Children’s Medical Center for 15 years. Rudy, an avid cyclist, has participated in a bike ride that benefits the hospital for the past four years.

Alliance Data President and CEO Ed Heffernan has accepted an appointment to the board of directors for Children's Medical Center.
